The Smart Mouth Guard mobile app provides the patient and their dentist with powerful tracking and analytical tools that can help improve bruxism treatment. Importantly, the application is able to register unconscious teeth grinding or clenching during the night, create overnight reports and send them directly to the patient’s dentist. The dentist gets a comprehensive picture of the patient’s disease state, allowing them to highlight the particular origins and determinants of teeth grinding for each particular patient, which may be difficult to do due to the variety of possible culprits.
